Pioneer is a remake of Frontier; a procedurally generated, Newtonian based space sim with countless star systems to explore. The final objective of this series is to reach the center of the galaxy while exploring interesting systems along the way. Whether or not I reach the center doesn’t matter, it’s about the journey. In this episode we explore URANUS and slingshot around Neptune towards an orbitting asteroid. We end by landing on Pluto before leaving the system. In the next episode we will hopefully leave the Sol system and explore the next system on the way to the center of the galaxy (TBA). **ADDITION** I’ve gotten some requests to do a flyby of the Sun before I leave the system – we will do this in Ep. 5! Hey everyone on this episode of Play it Through its Magical Quest starring Mickey Mouse for the Super Nintendo brought to us by Capcom. Capcom and Disney made some of the best games on the NES and when Nintendo jumped to the SNES Disney and Capcom followed making some more great games including Goof Troop, Bonkers, and the Magical Quest series which spanned 3 games one of which was not released in NA until the GBA was released. Magical Quest has Mickey traveling to a strange world to rescue Pluto from the evil Emperor Pete. Along the way Mickey gets new costumes and with them some cool power ups including a fire hose to put out fire based enemies and platforms as well as a Bionic Commando style grappling hook. Magical Quest is one of my favorite platformers of the 16-bit age so I hope you Enjoy!!! Meet Meg’s twin Melinda: Melinda and Meg were once very happy then one day the fates told Hades to find a maid of 16(or older) in order to gain more power(or just be evil). Hades being the devil devises a plan to get both sisters. He promises Melinda immortality in exchange for Meg’s life. Hades causes and earthquake and crushes Meg. Melinda regrets what she has done and watches Meg die.
