Info about Out Of The Frying Pan Into The Firing Line (1942): This short did not have much for entertainment value, but I like it historicalwise. As Minnie is about to give some bacon grease to Pluto (which is not a wise decision as it is very unhealthy), she hears an announcement on the radio. The announcer tells housewives of America to preserve their bacon grease so that it can be made into nitro-glycerin for the war effort. I enjoyed the part where Pluto takes the pound of bacon grease to the meat market. When Mickey goes out to get a Christmas tree, he brings one back with two visitors, Chip & Dale. Pluto tries to show Mickey but winds up crashing the tree for his effort.
