Mickey’s Speedway USA, a great racing game for Nintendo 64. Pluto is kidnapped by those no-good weasels! Its up to Mickey and his friends to race across the USA and get him back! How exciting! Its very rare that I say a racing game is better than Mario Kart 64. It almost never happens. Keeping that in mind, I have to say that this game might just be better than Mario Kart 64 (GASP!) Its more fast-paced, the items are more fun to use (but tougher to master), the music is more catchy (Well…at times, anyway), the graphics are great for an N64 game (in my opinion), the battles are more frantic, and the characters have more chemistry. What other racing game has character yelling at each other by name based on how they interact? It feels like they’re actually interacting with each other instead of just saying generic phrases. The almost nonstop voices might annoy some other people, but I loved it. (You can turn the voices off or adjust their volume in the options menu as well) However, its not as challenging as other racing games until later on in the game, which can be seen as a downside. Plus, some of the courses are too short and easy, and on the opposite end of the spectrum some are way too hard (Colorado is straight from hell) I think its sort of a shame that not a lot of people have heard of it, and a lot of those who have heard of it dismiss it as “just a Disney game”. In my opinion, this is a game worth being played. Feel free to disagree, but don’t knock it til you

Disney Epic Mickey is an action-adventure platforming game for the Wii console that sends Mickey Mouse on an epic journey of creativity and discovery. As Mickey, the player is propelled into Wasteland, an alternate world made up of Disney’s forgotten creative efforts, and is given the power to wield paint and paint thinner to dynamically change the world while determining Mickey’s path to becoming an epic hero. Through the use of this unique paint and paint thinner, the key components of animation and Mickey’s tools for impacting his world, players will have the ability to shape how the story unfolds as they discover the concept of “Playstyle Matters” — an innovative style of gameplay created by Disney Interactive Studios’ Junction Point, led by industry luminary Warren Spector, where players creatively tackle different challenges in the world to explore all the possibilities and storylines — but with consequences for their chosen actions.

Hey everyone on this episode of Play it Through its Magical Quest starring Mickey Mouse for the Super Nintendo brought to us by Capcom. Capcom and Disney made some of the best games on the NES and when Nintendo jumped to the SNES Disney and Capcom followed making some more great games including Goof Troop, Bonkers, and the Magical Quest series which spanned 3 games one of which was not released in NA until the GBA was released. Magical Quest has Mickey traveling to a strange world to rescue Pluto from the evil Emperor Pete. Along the way Mickey gets new costumes and with them some cool power ups including a fire hose to put out fire based enemies and platforms as well as a Bionic Commando style grappling hook. Magical Quest is one of my favorite platformers of the 16-bit age so I hope you Enjoy!!!
