Pluto’s not a planet. We’re sorry, but we think it’s time you move on. If you’ve gone through all your breakup music and Meg Ryan movies, and you still can’t…

Why does he pronounce the word “Dwarf” as “Dorf”? 2:40?

  • Koppa Dasao Says:

I still has the same question as when I first heard it: Does that mean that
dwarf humans are not humans any more??

  • QueenofAntarctica Says:

I thought it also had to have an atmosphere, was that not one of the
    requirements too??

  • CareerGamer2012 Says:

    WE LOVE YOU PLUTO!?

  • Lydia Xavier Says:

If planets are defined so strictly, why call anything a planet? They’re
all just clusters of gasses and solids created and held in place by the
    cosmos to impress us humans.?

  • MrClean417 Says:

Speaking of let downs, like Pluto being demoted from planet to head
plutoid. Tyson’s Cosmos. Just feels like a dumbed down version of
Sagan’s. Maybe it’s all the cartoons, I don’t know. Maybe, like with
pluto, when I learned the first Cosmos I was younger. Not a child but an
impressionable late teen. This latest episode they animated chlorophyll,
the Calvin process is it, with silly animation of a factory. They’d been a
lot better off just using a real factory, the Lego factory. But no,
because we can animate we HAVE to animate, even if it doesn’t make much
sense and looks like we threw it together at the last minute. Tyson
doesn’t speak smooth enough to cover over the flaws. The earlier episodes
were better then this weeks but really, animation seems to be the main
    push, information a distant second.

Maybe it’s just an old man wishing for the days of his youth when Pluto was
a planet and Sagan put on a pretty snazzy show.?

    Pluto was an inside job!?

  • Carter Staley Says:

I have 100% accepted that Pluto isn’t a planet but it still bothers me a
little bit that isn’t Earth MUCH more like Pluto than Earth is like
Jupiter? Kind of like how cgpgrey in his video said we shouldn’t even put
earth and the gas giants in the same categories. Separate them into
    terrestrial planets and gas giants.?
