Hey everyone on this episode of Play it Through its Magical Quest starring Mickey Mouse for the Super Nintendo brought to us by Capcom. Capcom and Disney made some of the best games on the NES and when Nintendo jumped to the SNES Disney and Capcom followed making some more great games including Goof Troop, Bonkers, and the Magical Quest series which spanned 3 games one of which was not released in NA until the GBA was released. Magical Quest has Mickey traveling to a strange world to rescue Pluto from the evil Emperor Pete. Along the way Mickey gets new costumes and with them some cool power ups including a fire hose to put out fire based enemies and platforms as well as a Bionic Commando style grappling hook. Magical Quest is one of my favorite platformers of the 16-bit age so I hope you Enjoy!!! There were knives and forks falling from the ceiling? and then after that I remember the next level had a switch at the beginning. That’s all I can remember. Even though I doubt anyone can help me I have to at least try.

I sort of need help. There’s this game I remember from my early childhood but I don’t know the name and can’t find it anywhere. I don’t remember much, for all I know the game might have been lame but as a child I enjoyed it and am feeling nostalgic. It was 2d and it may have been mickey mouse or a mouse like thing(I think he was all black). I remember what I think was? the first level- it was a dining room with a long ass table, there were pigs spitting apples and jello you could jump on. (cont)

I would have said Batman rather? than bionic as Batman has a grappling hook as default I always thought.

I still remember deliberately taking dozens of Game Overs in the first stage on Hard just to max out coins back in the? day. Quite fun. Also quite fun to try to beat the later bosses with just the firefighter costume. 🙂

So since the ending of the game is the same screen as the beginning of the game can we assume Mickey is in a dream within a dream?
I think I remember? reading somewhere that Christopher Nolan said this game had a big influence on Inception
