Pioneer is a remake of Frontier; a procedurally generated, Newtonian based space sim with countless star systems to explore. The final objective of this series is to reach the center of the galaxy while exploring interesting systems along the way. Whether or not I reach the center doesn’t matter, it’s about the journey. In this episode we explore URANUS and slingshot around Neptune towards an orbitting asteroid. We end by landing on Pluto before leaving the system. In the next episode we will hopefully leave the Sol system and explore the next system on the way to the center of the galaxy (TBA). **ADDITION** I’ve gotten some requests to do a flyby of the Sun before I leave the system – we will do this in Ep. 5! DOWNLOAD pioneerspacesim.net JOIN THE COMMUNITY www.spacesimcentral.com **FOLLOW ALONG** You can actually follow along my journey using an addon created by one of the Pioneer Dev’s for this Let’s Play. It will automatically bring you to all the systems I visit, in whatever order you wish! It is constantly updated. It’s the question being asked by many. A lot of people choose to not believe it! But believe it or not, Pluto is no longer a planet, and I explain why. Beyond Our Earth is my own segment that I create for Homework Express using Adobe After Effects CS5

I explain why I think Pluto’s entrance into Capricorn is one of the most important astrological events of our time. Others might have great symbolic value, or profound effects on our thoughts and feelings. But Pluto’s transit of Capricorn is going to change the way the world works, on the ground.

By www.dlrpmagic.com Disney’s Once Upon a Dream Parade in Disneyland Park at Disneyland Paris, the complete, spectacular daytime parade of dreams which launched for the 15th Anniversary in 2007. Come a little closer… Step into the wonder… The grand daily parade of Disneyland Paris is beyond your wildest dreams – one of the most spectacular, beautifully-crafted parades in Disney history. Part 1 features Dreams of Imagination (Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Chip, Dale, Pluto), Dreams of Laughter & Fun (Alice in Wonderland, Pinocchio), Dreams of Friendship (Toy Story, Winnie the Pooh), plus the full show stop of the opening float, featuring the theme song “Just Like We Dreamed It” by Sunny Hilden, which was also the anthem of the 15th Anniversary. For the first time in Paris, each float features more than one group of characters, and all come overflowing with clever special effects, glitter, sparkling LED lights, moving props, live puppets and a huge range of dancers and street entertainers – Tigger can even properly bounce! The beautiful float music was orchestrated by Steve Sidwell (Moulin Rouge) and recorded by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of London.

Scientists have deflected inquiries about the discovery of new planet for a few years now, mainly because they feared being associated with these “fringe” theories. But, according to a team of Spanish astronomers who call themselves StarViewer Team they found a brown dwarf star with large satellites encircling it. It’s twice the size of Jupiter The group made the rounds of all the news web sites in the past two weeks, claiming they discovered something very significant. It’s almost twice the size of Jupiter and just beyond our furthest planetoid, Pluto. Although it’s not a planet, it appears to have planets or large satellites encircling it. It’s what astronomers call a “brown dwarf star” and its official name is “G1.9?. What’s a Brown Dwarf Star? All matter attracts other matter. A larger mass will attract smaller masses towards it. In space this results in growing clouds of matter that tend to clump together and attract more matter. Since most of the matter in space is gaseous, these clouds eventually get so dense that they collapse into dense gaseous spheres. When they do this there is usually some “left over” matter that forms a ring around the sphere. If there is enough matter in a sphere of hydrogen, for example, it can cause so much compression at the shpere’s core that the hydrogen atoms begin to fuse together and a fusion-reaction ignites a new born star. In this reaction two hydrogen atoms join together to form one helium atom and release extra energy as …

Pluto was kicked off the list of major planets. It seems to have responded by turning a mysterious red color, according to scientists working with the Hubble Space Telescope. They’re now trying to find out what makes its surface so dynamic. From the Space Telescope Science Institute.
