Pluto Spotted on… Pluto?
It seems that the NASA New Horizons project got more than it bargained for in its recent fly by of Pluto. They may have given us more insight into why Mickey’s pet dog was named after the dwarf planet. There have now been multiple sightings of the lovable Disney dog on the dwarf planets surface. Pluto (the dog) was named after Pluto (the dwarf planet) the year after it was first discovered in 1930.
