I remember the ton of hate she used to get when she first arrived. I’m glad
she was able to shake it off with her enthusiasm and keep going. Congrats!
    Happy new year! ?

  • Adam Wojtczak Says:

Why do people care whether Pluto is a planet or not? It doesn’t change
anything about Pluto itself. Call it a pebble for all I care, its still a
    cool place. ?

  • Doug Holmes Says:

wouldn’t it be awesome if New Horizon find that Charon is a Mass Relay to
    Arcturus… I am a Mass Effect nerd…?

  • SciShow Space Says:

  • Irvin Yi Says:

Like if your watching this in 2014…?

  • Aaron Rosenberg Says:

In the excellent 2001 film “The American Astronaut,” Ceres is the location
of a bar—The Ceres Crossroads—where a dance contest is held.?

  • sKebess Says:

Not sure why but I prefer the other hosts. I don’t feel as captivated with
this one as I am with the other 2. Hoping to see them on the next video.?

  • Peter Schmidt Says:

This stuff is so exciting and the reason why astronomy is my favorite
science – it’s the only science with consistently new discoveries that are
sometimes so drastic it changes what we know about physics. My mind would
explode if we could actually safely land on Pluto or Ceres and study the
surface. I don’t want to wait for this stuff!?

  • Gamerfreak Says:

That awkward moment when you look at the comment section only to find 5
    “First” comments…?

  • Rasmus Christian Outzen Petersen Says:

We have 9 planets in our Solar System. Pluto will always be a planet and if
I ever have kids, you can bet me and a lot of other people will teach them
about Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune AND
    PLUTO! 😛 ?

  • Bowie Sensei Says:

1:20 sound waves? so is there a bunch of hydrogen/helium gas in the area
then? or mabye somthing else less common but more massive… or what??

  • Jack TheRipper Says:

i don t want to be rude but the fact that pluto isn t considered a planet
isn t and shouldn t be a big deal?

  • Elliott Collins Says:

1:25 Sorry sound waves? You’re going to have to expand on your promise of
Space Sonar. I’m skeptical, but I’m excited. ?

  • PhynixPc Says:

Caitlin your enthusiasm is infectious. Keep up the great work SciShow.?

  • anthonyhdean Says:

Lol, I remember the first time I heard that Pluto is no longer considered a
planet, & I was like oh that’s neat it seemed kind of weird for it to be
included with all the other planets anyway. And I just don’t get how people
just don’t get how puto isn’t a planet. I think its so cool that it’s a
dwarf planet. I mean, I have long since moved on. And it feels so weird
that people are still stuck on how it’s not a planet.?

  • SonOfAKing Says:

Is she pregnant (or just gained weight)? Yes, I realize that sounds
insensitive but its not meant to. I think its great if shes pregnant
because she has alot of charisma and seems really nice! ?

  • Richard Miller Says:

Woa woa woa, hold the phone at 1:30, sound waves from orbit?

Ik space isn’t a true vacuum, but I’m skeptical that sound can travel from
    orbit to surface. ?

  • LordOfJoy Says:

<3 Sci Show Space <3 Crash Course Big History <3?

  • Jessica Way Says:

But Pluto was voted a planet again already??

  • BoniekKurdupel Says:

Change our view on our solar system forever? Isn’t that like, what every
new discovery is supposed to do? Show how shit our human hypothesis are??
