In the only twist from the cartoon adaptation of the same name, Pluto does not save Fifi but rather a small female puppy that is never seen again in the Disneyverse. I also love the inception of inked characters ‘painting’ themselves with Mickey there painting Pluto’s tail black. Ah yes, and they even kept those eyelashes from the cartoon in the final panel haha.
