Pluto has 5 moons now? I seem to remember a time when it had only one (known) moon (back when it was a planet,? you know?). I like Cerberus. It can guard the inner moons that way.

To be honest, I got in the studio and just said it… I learned how the discoverer, James W. Christy, spotted it in 1978 and wanted to name it after his wife, Charlene, but couldn’t based on IAU rules. Instead he picked Charon — ferryman of the dead — because of the similarity. Soooo… I pronounced the beginning like Charlene! It might be wrong, but at least I had a? reason? Right? Maybe? … and interestingly enough, Bastet was once a much higher? goddess but was demoted from a higher-goddess to a lower-goddess much like Pluto was demoted from planet to dwarf planet.
and cats… because… well, cats!

as for earth, for you that’s the name, but it’s different in almost every language! terra isn’t that bad of a proposittion, it’s “la terre” in french – almost the same. in norwegian we call it “jorda”? ou “jorden”. both the french and the norwegian names mean “earth” as in “soil”
