From Minnie Takes Care of Pluto. The other day was the first time I have ever seen this short. I wasn’t sure why this was unfamiliar until I discovered it was banned in the USA after one showing in 2000. Don’t want to rant much but… WTF. ‘Imagery too frightening’? Compared to the cartoons of the 30s and 40s, this short is relatively tame. What’s worse is the entire premise is genius – brilliant nightmare sequences, excellent reactions, plus I had wanted to see more interaction between Pluto and Minnie anyway. Bah. I blame how politically correct the world has become. Good thing a HQ video exists for .gif sets HINT HINT. 😉
