Visit www.InsideTheMagic.net for more from One More Disney Day! Beginning Feb. 29, 2012 and continuing through to March 1, the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World remained open for 24 hours to commemorate the added date for Leap Year. Just after 1 am a DJ dance party broke out in front of Cinderella Castle where hundreds of guests gathered to dance the early morning hours away, continuing until nearly 5 am Donald Duck, Goofy, and Pluto joined in the dancing with floats, dancers, and stilt walkers from the Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It! Street Party. Songs played at the dance party shown here include Baby by Justin Bieber, What Time Is It? from High School Musical, and the Enchanted Tiki Room version of the Macarena.

What people don’t realize is most of us had spent most day riding the rides and they will always? be there. And while we were still dancing most rides had HUGE lines! Plus most of these people were Cast Members or crazy annual pass members.

They made? a Macarena remix of In the Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Room? Isn’t the Macarena supposed to be danced to the ORIGINAL Macarena?

@TJaxx17 A 40 minute line sounds like heaven. Over at Disneyland it was a two hour wait just to get into the parking structure. Then a two hour wait to “maybe” be allowed into the park. It was beyond insane. It was surreal in it’s madness.?
So even with a 24 hour window, some people never made it in, despite waiting all night.

The Makarena? Really? I thought that nightmare of? a dance was gone decades ago. They definitely DON’T know how to party for 24 hours at Walt Disney World.
