In this episode, you can hear most of the voice samples that were used again and again until 1950, so it covers a lot of ground. Get the subtitles here: www.chipndaleonline.com And more importantly, what THE HECK is Chip (or Dale) saying at 1:11 – 1:18? I’ll post a video with the answer if anyone of you request it.

Jimmy does it differently here than the way he preforms them in ‘two chips and a miss’ ๐
Does anyone know who did chip and dale in the old cartoons? I read that most of the time it was disney staff, altho i never know what to believe.
December 18th, 2009 at 5:37 am
That’s because he was voiced by Jimmy McDonald, the same guy who did the voice of Mickey after Walt.

Pluto sounds like an old aged monster crying at the end.
December 18th, 2009 at 5:37 am
Dale sounds like Mickey Mouse
December 18th, 2009 at 5:37 am
Could chipmunks be kept as pets?
December 18th, 2009 at 5:37 am
True.
He also sounds like a lion roaring or growling at times, especially at 00:27-00:30.
December 18th, 2009 at 5:37 am
Pluto sounds funny when barking at 3:31 ๐
December 18th, 2009 at 5:37 am
Chip sounds kind of like Wilma Flintstone.
December 18th, 2009 at 5:37 am
1947.
December 18th, 2009 at 5:37 am
When did Dale get a red nose?
December 18th, 2009 at 5:37 am
Yes, I checked that out. But when it’s reversed, it sounds like that.
December 18th, 2009 at 5:37 am
I can’t stop laughing at Dale’s (I call him Dale) line at 2:26: “Oh, I just can’t stand that vile creature.”
December 18th, 2009 at 5:37 am
Hehe, not at all. ๐ Check out my latest video, Deciphering the Gibberish, for the answer.
December 18th, 2009 at 5:37 am
At 1:15 they say, “Don’t look at him.”
December 18th, 2009 at 5:37 am
That’d be awesome! Thank you so much for your time.
December 18th, 2009 at 5:37 am
Ok, when I get some time I’ll create a new one.
December 18th, 2009 at 5:37 am
Thanks for posting this!
Will you be posting more clips of Chip & Dale’s voices slowed down, especially from the post-1950 cartoons? I’d be ever so grateful if you did.
December 18th, 2009 at 5:37 am
Ah, you slowed the video down.
December 18th, 2009 at 5:37 am
Thank you for everything you’ve done to let us understand the chipmunks perfectly.
December 18th, 2009 at 5:37 am
Hearing the chipmunks at normal pace is funny enough. But listening to them in slow-mo is totally hysterical. I laughed so hard my eyes were all watery!
December 18th, 2009 at 5:37 am
You’re on the right track, but I didn’t run the track backwards. All I’ve done on the sound for this video is a pitch shift on the whole soundtrack. Compare with the original if you don’t believe me.
See my new video for the answer.
December 18th, 2009 at 5:37 am
It’s up already. ๐
December 18th, 2009 at 5:37 am
I’m afraid you ran that part backwards, that’s why.
December 18th, 2009 at 5:37 am
I’d like to see a video with the answer to what the chipmunks say between 1:11 and 1:18. I certainly couldn’t figure it out!
